Quadrangular Series (Ireland) - 3rd match

Scotland v West Indies

West Indies won by 4 wickets (with 1 ball remaining) (D/L method)

Good morning and welcome to our coverage of the Quadrangular Series in Ireland. Todays game features the West Indies and Scotland in Clontarf, Dublin. There is a bit of rain about and the start is delayed by 15 minutes. The West Indies have announced two changes from their previous game. They rest Chanderpaul and Samuels, in come Richards and Simmons. Samuels will assume twelfth man duties. Scotland leave out Hoffman, who doesn't arrive until tomorrow, while Craig Wright is carrying an injury and so misses out. The West Indies have won the toss and upsuprisingly have put Scotland in on what will be a difficult pitch. It's pretty overcast and will probably swing about early on. Match State: Match start scheduled at 11.00 Local Time- rain delays start

12.50pm. Well, it's stopped raining. Nearly. And it's definitely getting brighter out there - it remains muggy and humid, too - but the clouds are thick, heavy and ominous. We'll keep you updated as soon as we hear, or see, anything.

The umpires have decided that it's got too heavy now and they're coming off; the players race to the changing rooms.

11.40am It's still raining here, if anything it's got heavier and they have just put more covers on. It doesn't look good for play in the near future - however there are some bright skies around so fingers crossed. I'll keep you updated.

11.55am. The rain has stopped now and its brightened up. The groundstaff are working hard to get the ground playable, still no sign of the umpires though.

12.10pm. It looks better now, the covers are coming off now. It will be a slow process to get the ground playable. The umpires have been out to have a look but no word of a potential start time.

12.20pm. Some news here. We have word that lunch will be taken at 12.30pm and an inspection will be carried out after that, at around 1.15pm. It's still dry so the prospect for play looks good I'll keep you updated on any developments.
