11.35am
Play will start at 12.20pm. However, as I type, the rain is now falling - albeit just spitting at the moment...but it could well be one of those days. Hang in there.
Inspection due at 11.00am local time (10.00am)
Hello chaps. The inspection's been and gone, and we're due for another any minute now. In fact, as I type, the umpires have just walked past me and onto the outfield. Annoyingly, the sun's now retreated behind the clouds - damn those clouds - but hopefully we'll be under way shortly. It's Will here. Chris is here, too; amazingly, he managed to find the place on time, which is a miracle for all involved. More news when we get it. Boil that kettle.
10:20 local time Chris here, the word around the ground is that we may have a slight delay due to a problem with the bowler's run-ups. Still pretty bright overhead and there's going to be an inspection at 10.20am. Ireland have made one change from the side that scraped home against The Netherlands, William Porterfield is fit again and takes the place of Kenny Carroll at the top of the innings. No news yet on the West Indies team, we'll bring you news as we get it.
9.50am The players are all warming up on the outfield. Ireland are doing a lot of jogging, star jumps and so on, while West Indies are practicing their throw-downs. In fact, they've been practicing them for about 30 minutes now, and seem to be hitting the stumps quite regularly. Chris, however, is still battling with the Dublin traffic. I'm off to find a cup of tea and to speak to some fans. Back shortly.
Good morning and welcome to the picturesque Clontarf in Dublin for West Indies final game of this Quadrangular series against Ireland. It's all set up to be a cracker - and, hopefully, the weather will hold. It's breezy, cool, cloudy but interspersed with some sunshine and, in my humble opinion, we ought to be starting on time. We will, I'm sure, have some interruptions later however.
I'm Will Luke, just providing an update for you while we wait for Chris Busby to make his way to the ground. More news soon.

2.40pm. Ok finally we have some news, we are going to start in fifteen minutes at 2.55pm (1.55pm GMT), so the overs will obviously be reduced, but no concrete details yet, I'll let you know as I get them, match reduced to 33 overs a side
1.50pm
I don't know what happened to the 1.30 inspection. In spite of it being dry, there will be yet another inspection at 2pm. Not quite sure why these things take so long in cricket. A stiff breeze is also drying the ground nicely, but the groundsman and umpires must still not be satisfied with the run-ups. Who knows? I'll try and chase someone down...
1pm
The players are taking lunch and there'll be an inspection at 1.30pm. That's if it doesn't rain again.
As predicted they are coming off, it's raining very very hard now as the covers are rushed on. Hopefully it will blow over quickly, as always we'll keep you updated...

4.50pm - match abandoned
Well, it was as much as we expected after that torrential downpour. A great disappointment for all the crowd, who are currently squeezed into the bar next door in a bold attempt to dry out (perhaps that's the wrong expression to use). So, do join me, Will Luke, and Chris Busby for the final match of this series tomorrow at Belfast for Ireland against Scotland. Until then - good night, and keep dry.
4.40pm
It is absolutely tearing down now. What a summer Britain and Ireland are having this year. It's raining so hard that I fear for the roof of our cosy press box, not to mention for the state of this match. You know what to do. Go find that kettle.
I'm sorry to report that it's raining here, it's very light at the minute. As I type, they are coming off as the rain gets much harder and the covers are whisked on in super quick time. We could be in for a lengthy delay
