Asia Cup - 5th match

India v Pakistan

India won by 6 wickets (with 13 balls remaining)

The players are walking out.

Ten minutes to go. More comments:

Arun, from the UAE (where Sunday is a working day), writes: "@office. Boss: wat r u doing ? me: yes boss, report generating Boss: Who won the toss?"

Shahrose Khan, from USA: "Pak v.s Ind matches: cause earth quake before they even start (literally today) - make us wake up at 3 a.m. without an alarm while the match is due to start at 4 a.m."

Man, you guys are really ripping in to Jadeja! Can't publish some of those comments for obvious reasons. Let's see if Yusuf can justify his inclusion, if given the chance.

Jadeja has some support, from Saud: "Jadeja is replaced with Yusuf Pathan? What is Dhoni thinking? He could have made Dinda to warm the bench, for a while, after the forgettable performance against Bangladesh. We need Yusuf to play, but Jadeja is still an asset with the fielding."

Toss: Pakistan have win the toss and they will bat first. Sarfraz Ahmed is not playing. Wahab Riaz is playing. Umar Akmal will keep wicket. Riaz took five wickets in the World Cup semi-final against India. They won't forget him easily.

MS Dhoni looked clueless when he came over to speak: "Not sure what we're doing. Bowling, right?" One change for India. Ravindra Jadeja makes way for Yusuf Pathan.

There's a treat for the spectators. Kailash Kher is singing "Hausla Buland", the theme song for Haywards 5000 club soda. It's nearly 4 and a half minutes long. Check the video on Youtube. It's worth a watch.

Gareth: "I can only imagine that Wahab has come in as a fitness trial as they've almost assured themselves a spot in the final. So far, their bowling has been great, you'd think they would have wanted to strengthen thier batting stocks instead."

Jeevan: "Finally Ravindra Jadeja makes way for some one (Nice to Hear).. If dhoni needs to give masterstroke make Yusuf to open and groom him as sehwag replacement .... Absence of sehwag clearly visible in past two matches."

Good day everyone and welcome to the most awaited clash in the Asia Cup, between India and Pakistan. If it wasn't for this tournament, heaven knows how long more these two would have had to play each other in a ODI. There's the World T20 coming up of course.

After Pakistan's last game, for some reason the commentators had declared that Pakistan had reached the final. Hang on. They're not there yet! If India beat them with a bonus point today and Bangladesh do the same to Sri Lanka, we will have three teams on nine points. That's when the net run-rate comes into the picture. What are the odds of that happening anyway? Read more in the preview.

The pitch for today's game is the same one used for the first match. The toss is on very soon. There was a really minor earthquake in Dhaka today apparently. All's fine now.

Pakistan couldn't have asked for anything better after loading their side with bowlers. Their batsmen have amassed 329 and the bowlers have a huge target to bowl to. Jamshed and Hafeez set the base with 224 and Younis and Akmal took over from there. Made the Indian attack look pedestrian, though Dinda came back well with the slower balls.

India just need to remind themselves of Hobart. They chased 320 within 40 overs. Kohli's still in good form, no reason why they can't repeat that.

No news yet of Tendulkar. For those who've just joined us, he injured his hand while trying to take a return catch off Jamshed. It was hit back hard and he was not to be seen after that.

Join us in 20 minutes.
