Twenty20 Big Bash, Western Australia v Victoria at Perth, Jan 18, 2011
Western Australia won by 6 wickets (with 17 balls remaining)
18 January 2011 - day/night match (20-over match)

Hi and welcome to the WACA for our live coverage of the KFC Big Bash clash between Western Australia and Victoria. My name is Andrew Fuss and I'll be taking you through all the action tonight. The Victorians have won the toss and elected to bat, which seems to be a big advantage in the Big Bash this year. Plenty of power in both teams today, noone moreso than Chris Gayle from the Warriors, he'll be desperate to fire tonight to keep the Warriors in the competition. We're not too far away from a start, the first ball will be bowled at 5.30pm local time, stay with us!

0.1

Lewis to Finch, no run, ooh and he almost strikes straight away, steps forward and french cuts to short fine leg

0.2

Lewis to Finch, SIX, back of a length, rocks back and gets a big top edge over backward square leg, wasn't completely in control of it but they all count in the Big Bash

0.3

0.4

Lewis to Finch, 2 runs, length on leg, flicked wide of shorrt fine leg

The deck looks good here at the WACA, the Bushrangers will be hoping for a score of around 180-190. Seven out of the last eight games at the WACA won by the team batting first, in the Big Bash that is.

BJ Hodge b Hogan 0 (4m 1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

That had some real swing on it, starting a good foot and a half outside off and hooping back through the gate as Hodge couldn't get his bat down. Not exactly the delivery you want first up.
