6.3 to TM Dilshan, played on! Dilshan goes for the booming straight drive, Johnson fired this just outside the off stump and got it to move back in, as a result the batsman was cramped for room as he went for the drive, inside edge onto the off stump. 19/2
38.1 to HAPW Jayawardene, straight after drinks Prasanna gets a brute of a delivery from Mitch! The batsman didn't know where that took off from, it was short and Prasanna tried to fend it off with soft hands but the ball lobbed off the shoulder of the bat towards third slip. 134/6
38.2 to KTGD Prasad, and Johnson's on a hat-trick! What does a tailender do with such a ball? Short, on the body and he has no time to move away from it, the ball clips his glove and lobs to the keeper, the Australians weren't so sure but the umpire was watching carefully. 134/7
40.3 to KC Sangakkara, top class catch by Wade! That's Johnson's 200th Test wicket! Johnson bowls it back of a length on the body and Sanga gets a top edge on the pull, the ball sails over the wicketkeeper and Wade himself does the honours, sprints around 35-40 meters towards the boundary and times his jump well. Keeps his eyes on the ball all the time. Phew!. 147/8
1353222.46642002
3.4 to FDM Karunaratne, Bird opens his account in Test cricket! This time he moved the ball away from the left-hander from over the wicket, Karunaratne was forward to drive, pushed at it, outside edge taken by Wade moving to his left. 13/1
25.3 to TT Samaraweera, top edge straight after lunch! That was a gift for the Australians. It was short and Samaraweera fetched that from outside off and tried to pull in front of square, swung and got a top edge, his right hand came off the handle showing that he had no control of the shot, Warner takes it at short midwicket, easy catch. 79/4
813023.75321001
12.3 to DPMD Jayawardene, thin edge! And all three seamers have struck this morning. Sri Lanka reeling here, Siddle pitched it on a good length and got it to move away slightly, Mahela was forward and across and got a thin edge to Wade. 37/3
30.4 to AD Mathews, that's a ripper! Mr Cricket take a bow! Siddle fires that wide outside off and Mathews couldn't resist trying to thrash the past cover, thick outside edge flies towards second slip and Hussey initially cups his hands behind it but ends up plucking it one-handed, he took a second or two to gather himself, the ball stuck. They check for the no ball and Siddle was just about safe. 99/5

5.402324.05231000
43.2 to HMRKB Herath, yet another poor shot! We've seen a few today, Herath goes for the slog off a well flighted delivery on the off stump, gets a top edge and easy catch to short fine leg. 156/9
43.4 to UWMBCA Welegedara, all too easy! Tossed up and Welegedara tries to clear the infield, mid-on was pushed back a bit and the ball went straight to Hussey. 156/10

87.4 to MJ Clarke, and finally Sri Lanka hang onto a catch and get their first breakthrough today! It was a loose shot but a good catch by the captain, Eranga bowled it full and wide and induced the drive, went flying off the edge and Mahela leaped at third slip and cupped it safely, captain catches captain. 311/4
126.2 to PM Siddle, Mahela pulls off a stunner! SL have dropped some and yet taken some blinders, Eranga comes round the wicket and fires it full and wide outside off, reaches out and drives and the edge goes flying towards second slip, Mahela flings himself to his left and cups it with both hands and falls. He could have left it for first slip but the Skipper sets a fine example. 434/8
134.4 to JM Bird, no century for Johnson! He will be stranded on 92, Bird was bowled through the gate, full delivery nipping in slightly and it breached Bird's defenses, hits the middle stump. 460/10
26210634.0710211010
23.6 to EJM Cowan, Three down now! SL hitting back. Loose shot there from Cowan, it was angling across him and cramped him for room, Cowan wanted to cut but got a thick outside edge off the cut and Jayawardene took at chest height at second slip. 117/3
88.6 to SR Watson, Watson misses a century but he will be very disappointed with this dismissal! Very similar to Warner's dismissal, there was a fielder there for the hook and he found him, it was short and too inviting, his head dropped after playing the shot, Samaraweera was well in front of the rope at deep square leg. 313/5
90.4 to MS Wade, ...and another batsman falls to the hook! Australia taking their eye off the ball a bit here, Prasad tempted Wade with the short one and he couldn't resist going for the hook, Eranga very nearly spilled the catch. 315/6
1636023.75718000
17.3 to DA Warner, the trap was set for Warner and he fell right into it! Two fielders in the deep on the on side and Warner found one of them, Mathews bowls it short, Warner tries to clear deep midwicket, the fielder takes it well in front of the rope, good captaincy there and relief for SL. 95/1
131.4 to NM Lyon, very soft dismissal! Should have shown more tact considering Johnson's score at the other end, it was short outside off, Lyon tries to pull in front of square and ends up placing it tamely to Chandimal at midwicket. 451/9
3979502.431787100
1213813.16483000
111.3 to MEK Hussey, Herath pulls off a ripper at the boundary! Just perfect that Bill Lawry was at the comm box when it happened...phew! Terrific stuff. Hussey tries to launch this over long-on, slogs, Herath was in front of the rope and had to run backwards in desperation, he keeps his eyes on the ball, stretches out his left hand, plucks it one-handed, falls, makes sure the ball sticks as he rolls on the turf. 376/7

0.4 to TM Dilshan, and we have two in two and SL reeling already in the first over! Caught at short leg, this was short on the body and Dilshan tries to tuck it away and gets an inside edge to the thigh pad and Cowan runs back and takes the catch. 1/2
18.5 to AD Mathews, chopped it on! Things get worse for SL, Johnson drags it short and it angles across the right-hander, Mathews fetches that from outside off and goes for the pull, ends up dragging it to the base of the stumps. 74/5
912923.22414001
1.6 to DPMD Jayawardene, 3 for 3 would you believe it! The extra ball courtesy the no-ball gives Australia the advantage, the ball lands just a shade outside off, comes in slightly and Mahela shapes to leave it alone, poor decision really, the ball takes the inside edge and hits the stumps. He decided very late to leave it alone. 3/3
5.3 to TT Samaraweera, Samaraweera's been given out lbw and he is reviewing it, he lands it on a fullish length on off stump and comes back in with the angle, he tries to flick it away and he fails to get bat on it, hits him in line with middle and leg and at normal speed it looked plumb, Nigel Llong thought so too, Samaraweera consulted Sanga and in desperation decided to review it. Quite straightforward. 13/4
5.203216.00195000
24.2 to RMS Eranga, and it's all over! The injured men won't come out to bat. Australia have claimed the series with one dead rubber to play. This was short on the body, Eranga couldn't fend it off properly, lobs off the handle to Cowan at short leg. Two men are absent hurt, Sanga won't bat, and Australia have wrapped this up in two and a half days.. 103/7
201618.0070200
23.3 to KTGD Prasad, goes for the hat-trick of sixes and it doesn't come off! Anything but. Tossed up and he goes down the track and gets a top edge that lands down Warner's throat at cover. 102/6
