Nathan Wegman was quietly supping a beer at his brother's wedding when the call came from the Tasmania selectors to prepare himself for his debut ... the very next day. The Wegman family were certainly celebrating that November weekend when he went on to claim 4 for 44 from 8.5 overs to lead them to the win against New South Wales. Wegman, 30, had been patiently awaiting his opportunity, and consistently good pace bowling for Clarence District CC led to his call-up. But in a strong Tasmania one-day team - they won the FR Cup in 2007-08 - he was only given one more outing as well as a Twenty20 match.
