BB 4 for 32 v NSW, Sydney, 1926-27. Lower-order bat: 485 runs at 34.64; HS 87 v Qld, Adelaide, 1928-29. Outstanding scholar and sportsman at Prince Alfred College. Surgeon's fellowship Edinburgh 1932. War service Army. Distinguished paediatric specialist Adelaide. Was oldest surviving South Australia Shield player.
