Cricket Victoria
October 15, 2002
Cricketers across Victoria will this weekend observe a minute's silence as a mark of respect to the victims of the Bali bombing attack.
Cricket Victoria CEO, Mr Ken Jacobs issued the appeal this morning. "The events of last Saturday evening in Bali were of tragic consequences for all Australians, particularly those families directly involved. The thoughts of the wider cricket community in this state go out to them at this sad time. As a mark of respect, I would ask that all cricket matches being played across Victoria this coming Saturday, observe a minute's silence prior to their commencement".
