Terry Jenner, the Australian spin coach, is in a serious but stable condition after suffering a heart attack in England. The 65-year-old Jenner, who played nine Tests, is on a coaching assignment in the United Kingdom after performing similar duties in India last month and Zimbabwe in February.
Shane Warne relied on Jenner's advice during his record-breaking career and he has become a mentor for slow bowlers around the globe. At home in South Australia Jenner has helped the development of Cullen Bailey, the legspinner, and the offspinner Dan Cullen. England's leggie Adil Rashid is another promising bowler to have received Jenner's assistance.
