Day one Tasmania v Queensland
Scorecard
Heavy rain and even a tornado warning for Hobart meant no play was possible between Tasmania and Queensland on the first day of the Sheffield Shield match at Bellerive Oval.
The Bureau of Meteorology had issued a severe weather alert warning of thunderstorms, hail and possible tornadoes on Friday morning.
Skies cleared sufficiently for the Queensland acting captain Chris Hartley to send Tasmania in to bat, but the rain prevented a ball from being bowled.

@ Chark_attack on (November 10 2012, 01:06 AM GMT) - judging by Tassies 1st innings - they didn't need a Tornado for that! It moved around heaps anyway!
