South Australia fast bowler Kane Richardson will miss their next Sheffield Shield game, against Western Australia from February 16, after being suspended for using foul language during a grade cricket match.
He was given a one-match suspension for breaching Cricket Australia's code of behaviour while turning out for East Torrens on February 1. According to a CA report, Richardson had employed "inappropriate language and conduct against the spirit of cricket". His Shield ban was in addition to a three-game A-Grade match ban - with two games suspended pending good behaviour - and a one-match suspension from the one-day competition.
