Fleming selected for Bushrangers tour

Damien Fleming has been named in the Bushrangers squad for their upcoming pre-season tour of Western Australia

Damien Fleming has been named in the Bushrangers squad for their upcoming pre-season tour of Western Australia. Starting on September 20, the Bushrangers will play both the Western Warriors and South African domestic team Kwa-Zulu Natal, in a tri-series of matches.
Fleming has spent the winter recovering from patella tendonitis and was delighted to be named in the touring party. "The tour to Western Australia is another step forward in my rehabilitation program. I'm working closely with our medical team and I'll be guided by them as to how many matches I play over there."
Fleming's Australian teammate and new Bushrangers recruit Colin Miller, will play the first week of the tour before joining the Australian One-Day Squad bound for Kenya.
Shane Harwood is the sole debutante in the squad, following an outstanding debut season last year for Melbourne. The 26-year-old paceman hails from Ballarat and is a former member of the Australian Country team, selected after the conclusion of the Australian Country Cricket Championships. The squad returns to Melbourne on September 28 to continue their lead-up to the season's first clash against the NSW Blues, in a one-day clash at North Sydney on October 15.
The selected squad is as follows;
Paul Reiffel, Jason Arnberger, Shawn Craig, Damien Fleming, Laurie Harper, Shane Harwood, Brad Hodge, Mathew Inness, Michael Klinger, Michael Lewis, Colin Miller, Matthew Mott, Ben Oliver, Clinton Peake, Peter Roach, Graeme Vimpani, John Scholes (Coach), Shaun Graf (Manager).
