Profile

Jeff Goodwin was a left-arm fast bowler who could swing the ball, and he shouldered the new-ball attack for Leicestershire in the early 1950s. After a good start to his career, he was unable to recapture the form which saw him take 86 wickets at 26.19 in 1953 and he struggled thereafter to command a regular place.
