John Westhorp played seven matches for Middlesex in 1893 and 1894 but despite being given a prolonged run in the XI did nothing of note. A middle-order batsman and occasional seamer, in five matches in 1894 he scored 51 runs, of which 39 came in one innings against Gloucestershire.
