Steven Ledger is the son of former Queensland Country representative GD Ledger. He commenced his cricket with Nambour in Sunshine Coast and represented his zone team in the various age groups. He now plays for Sunshine Coast in the QCA grade competition. His selection in the Queensland Under 19 team for 2002-03 is his first appearance for a Queensland team. He also plays rugby league. Schools: Woombye State; Nambour State High. He has gained a Certificate in Agriculture as well as a Diploma of Agronomy from University of Queensland, Gatton and now works in primary production.
