A left handed allrounder he played his cricket in the Beenleigh-Logan Association with Logan Village and appeared in one Plunkett Cup match. He has now followed his brothers to umpiring and has received appointments to officiate at matches involving Queensland Country. He received appointments for two matches of the National Country Championships to be played in Bundaberg as well as for the match to be played between Australia Country and Queensland but a health problem has brought about his withdrawal. He is the president, secretary and groundsman of the Logan Village Cricket Club and has held the position of vice president and president of the Beenleigh Logan CA.
