Profile

Kishen Velani is an allrounder who has come through the Essex academy, making his first-team debut in the final Championship match of 2013. He played for England at the 2012 Under-19 World Cup but was dropped from the squad a year later over a lack of fitness. He received more first-team opportunities in the next three seasons as well as spending a period with Penrith in Australia's grade competition.
