So Bangladesh will look back on this innings with a certain degree of ruefulness. The top six all made starts but only Shakib converted it into a half-century. The highest partnership of the innings was only 39, which explains the inability to accelerate as wickets fell at regular intervals after a fairly bright start. New Zealand on the other hand will be delighted with a professional display in humid conditions after a month's layoff.
