Sri Lanka won by 61 runs
20 February 2014 - day/night match (50-over match)

Rubel Hossain to MDKJ Perera, OUT, cut straight into the hands of point! Might have been a bit more bounce there than he expected. Still slams it away and Shamsur has held on to a pretty sharp catch! It was short and wide, probably one of the worse balls he would bowl to get a wicket but Rubel doesn't mind. Neither does Bangladesh as they rejoice after the early success

MDKJ Perera c Shamsur Rahman b Rubel Hossain 8 (8m 7b 2x4 0x6) SR: 114.28

Sri Lanka 9/1   TM Dilshan 1* (4b)   Rubel Hossain 0.5-0-1-1

Rubel Hossain to Dilshan, OUT, goes for a pull and he gets a leading edge to mid-off. Rubel roars! It was not short enough to pull, especially when he was on the front foot. He didn't have enough room to free his hands either. Another failure for Dilshan as he dies by the sword. I wonder how much that blow to his thumb contributed to his dismissal.

TM Dilshan c Mushfiqur Rahim b Rubel Hossain 8 (38m 16b 1x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Sri Lanka 38/2   KC Sangakkara 21* (23b 3x4)   Rubel Hossain 3.4-0-16-2

Sohag Gazi to Chandimal, OUT, that's a dolly to midwicket and Gazi has struck! This flighted delivery stopped on the pitch and came at him a lot slower than he expected. Chandimal's closed face of the bat results in a leading edge which is pouched with the greatest ease

LD Chandimal c Shamsur Rahman b Sohag Gazi 9 (20m 14b 0x4 0x6) SR: 64.28

Sri Lanka 63/3   KC Sangakkara 37* (39b 5x4)   Sohag Gazi 1.4-0-6-1

Shakib Al Hasan to Priyanjan, OUT, tossed up on middle as he looks to sweep. Gets struck low on the front pad and Shakib knew it as he went for the appeal! This one slides on with the arm and hits him in front of off stump as Priyanjan tried to get outside the line. Wasn't too successful

SMA Priyanjan lbw b Shakib Al Hasan 60 (90m 97b 7x4 0x6) SR: 61.85

Sri Lanka 177/4   KC Sangakkara 86* (86b 8x4)   Shakib Al Hasan 7.4-1-27-1

Arafat Sunny to Sangakkara, OUT, Mahmudullah has made amends immediately, snares a good, tumbling catch on the long-on boundary to dismiss Sanga. It was tossed up on leg stump, made him go down on one knee and he lofted it. Think he got under it a bit too much as this got more height than distance. Mahmudullah runs to his left and had his eyes on the ball all the way into both his hands

KC Sangakkara c Mahmudullah b Arafat Sunny 128 (181m 115b 14x4 0x6) SR: 111.30

Sri Lanka 260/5   AD Mathews 41* (29b 4x4 1x6)   Arafat Sunny 6.2-1-37-1

Rubel Hossain to NLTC Perera, OUT, outside edge, caught at short third man! Fuller delivery homing in on off stump and Thisara was looking for quick runs as he seeks the leg side boundary, but the ball skews away to Mahmudullah again who clings on to a simple chance. Bangladesh hitting back big time here, but is it too late?

NLTC Perera c Mahmudullah b Rubel Hossain 0 (4m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Sri Lanka 262/6   AD Mathews 43* (32b 4x4 1x6)   Rubel Hossain 8.2-0-56-3
