A leg spin bowler, Sarah Clarke made her full England debut on tour in India in 2001-02 where she played three one-day matches. Her selection for the tour followed an impressive European Cup in 2001, where she struck 66 not out against Scotland and took 4 for 15 against Ireland. She has also
represented England at Under-17 level, and the England A team. Her best bowling figures of 6 for 17 for her club side Redoubtables came against North Riding WCC came in the ECB Cup semi-final of 2001.
Clarke graduated from the University of Brighton with a BA (Hons) in Leisure and Sports studies.
