Son of Pakistan's best-known spinner, Abdul Qadir, Usman has an action not too different from his father. His leg-spin fetched him nine wickets against Zimbabwe Under-19, when he was the joint-highest wicket-taker, and was again successful against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the tri-series, where he grabbed six wickets at 12.83. His brother Sulaman Qadir also has played for Pakistan Under-19.
