Simon Moore's club cricket is for Cardiff-Boolaroo in Newcastle. In 1996-97 he kept wicket for Hunter Valley Invitation XI in the match against Pakistan played at Newcastle. He was educated at Booragul High School and at St Francis Xavier School, Hamilton and works as a laboratory assistant at a bulk grain terminal.
