Nuruzzaman suffers nervous nineties

Barisal Division made their first good start in the League against Khulna as they ended up with 106 without loss at stumps of day-2. Imran Ahmed was batting with 51 and Shafayetul Islam with 50.

Earlier Khulna Division finished with 177 on their board. Asadullah Khan top scored 33 and Raju Parvej notched up 27. Sanwar Hossain was the most successful bowler for Barisal. He claimed 3 for 18.

In the other match Rajshahi Division, captained by makeshift Hasanuzzaman, have piled up 304 runs for the loss of 8 wickets at the end of the day. Their successful one-downer Nuruzzaman Nayan pulled off another ton. He made 93 featured with 8 boundaries.

Reza-ul-Haq captured 4 wickets giving away only 59 runs. Sayeed Parvez captured 2 for 91.
