Scorecard
Bangladesh A built a healthy, 234-run lead over Zimbabwe A on the third day of the second unofficial Test in Fatullah, despite play being curtailed due to inclement weather.
Marshall Ayub held the home side's second innings together with his 19th first-class fifty. He made 53 off 123 balls with five fours and a six. Play was stopped at 3.10pm, more than an hour before the scheduled close, due to bad light. A large chunk of the game has already been affected by rain, specially on the first day when only 21.2 overs where bowled.
Zimbabwe A began the third day on 91 for 6, and were soon bowled out for 132 with Shahadat Hossain and Jubair Hossain taking four wickets each. Saqlain Sajib and Kamrul Islam also took a wicket apiece.
Starting their second innings with lead of 126 runs, Bangladesh A suffered an early blow. Shahriar Nafees, who made 97 in the first innings, was caught behind off Taurai Muzarabani for a first-ball duck before Shadman Islam followed him back to the pavilion after an hour. Marshall put together two small partnerships during his time at the crease before the umpires decided to take the players off the field following his dismissal and Mohammad Mithun's run-out. Apart from Muzarabani, Tatenda Manatsa, Vusi Sibanda and Wellington Masakadza took a wicket apiece.
