Bangladesh extend series lead to 5-1

With a 45-run win in the sixth Youth ODI in Chittagong, Bangladesh Under-19s extended their lead to 5-1 over South Africa Under-19s in the seven-match series.
Deciding to bat first, the Bangladesh were bowled out for 219 runs in 46.2 overs with wicketkeeper-batsman Shafiul Hayet top scoring with 83 runs. He struck five fours and a six in his 96-ball knock. He added 138 runs for the fourth wicket with Mehedi Hasan who made 57 off 78 balls, also with five fours and a six.
In reply the visitors were bowled out for 174 runs in 45.1 overs as left-arm spinner Saleh Ahmed took five for 25 from 7.1 overs while Nehaduzzaman picked up three wickets. Rivaldo Moonsamy top scored for South Africa with 60 off 79 balls with six boundaries but none of the others could support him.
