Dhaka Dynamites batsman Malcolm Waller required six stitches on his right eyebrow after he was struck during training on Saturday. There was also an injury worry for Sylhet Superstars after Abdur Razzak injured his right hamstring while taking a catch during training. Both incidents occurred at the BCB Academy ground in Mirpur.

According to the Dhaka team manager Athar Ali Khan, the team doctor advised rest for Waller, and the team management will take a call on him on Sunday. Waller got the deep cut when the ball took his bat's edge and snuck through his helmet during a nets session.

Earlier in the day, Razzak ran out to take a high catch during Sylhet's training but his hamstring pulled up and he fell to the ground. He is likely to be out for seven days.

Kamrul Islam Rabbi was also ruled out for seven days after he injured his right thumb while training for Comilla Victorians on Thursday.
