India in Bangladesh Test Series - 2nd Test

Bangladesh v India

India won by 10 wickets

Overs 1-50  | Overs 51-100

We are ready for the start. Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes are the openers, and Zaheer Khan will open proceedings for India. Here we go. Three slips in place, and a gully.

Bangladesh have won the toss and opted to bat. "We didn't bat well in the first innings in the first Test. We are looking at at least 350," Shakib says. Shahriar Nafees is out, Junaid Siddique comes in. VVS Laxman, Dinesh Karthik, Sreesanth and Amit Mishra are out - MS Dhoni comes in for Karthik after recovering from his back strain, Pragyan Ojha replaces Mishra, Murali Vijay comes in for Laxman. And of course, Harbhajan Singh comes back after recovering from his stiff neck.

Hello and welcome to the coverage of the second Test in Mirpur. The tri-nation tournament was held at this venue, but Sunil Gavaskar, doing the pitch report, says the track is quite different from the one used for the one-dayers. There are some more cracks on the track and spinners have much to look forward to. Bat first and bat big, he says.

Khan to Tamim Iqbal, no run, appeal for caught-behind, landed it on a length outside off and got it to move away, beautifully bowled, drew him into the shot, there was a slight deviation and a sound once they played the replay but the umpire didn't hear it and nor was the appeal very convincing from behind the stumps, hard to tell

0.5

Khan to Tamim Iqbal, no run, beaten again, much closer to the off stump and some late movement had Tamim in trouble as he went for the drive as it just escaped the outside edge

0.6

Khan to Tamim Iqbal, no run

Tamim Iqbal b Khan 0 (12m 8b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00
