News from the middle is, Sydney Thunder have won the toss and are batting My name is Marc Ellison and I will be bringing you the live scoring and commentary for tonight's match. The Thunder are without Chris Rogers this evening as well as Sean Abbott but they have the explosive batting of former Australian international Mark Cosgrove and Cam Borgas. On the other side of the coin, the Scorchers are happy enough with their 6 wicket win over the Hurricanes on New Years' Day to name the same XI. After six complete rounds of the 2012/13 BBL, these two teams find themselves sitting near the bottom of the points table. The Scorchers have three wins and three losses, whole the Thunder are yet to register a single victory.
