Despite their vastly improved showing in limited-overs cricket in recent years, Bangladesh remain a long shot to take that form into next week's first Test against England at Chittagong.
Bangladesh have won just seven of their 93 Tests since their first match in November 2000, and their record against England, dating back to 2003, reads played eight, lost eight.
Odds of 13/2 in a two-horse race may look favourable, but it would be a major surprise if England (8/13) don't emerge with at least a share of the spoils in the coming two-Test series.
That said, on what is likely to be a slow, low deck at Chittagong where wickets will have to be hard-earned, the draw is currently 23/10 with Bet365, which might be worth a flutter.
Or maybe even a Bangladesh win on the Draw No Bet option (7/2, with your money back in the event of a stalemate). They are 17/2 to sneak a maiden series win against England, which may look attractive on home soil. However, for that to happen, you'd be better off backing them to pull off a 1-0 series win at 10/1.
After all, it's possible that a new-look England team might endure one bad Test. But it is nigh on inconceivable (33/1, in fact) that they will stumble at both Chittagong and Dhaka.
