Bollinger flies home: Chennai Super Kings’ fast bowler Doug Bollinger has returned to Australia due to personal reasons. Super Kings had tweeted the news ahead of their game against Delhi Daredevils on Saturday, saying Bollinger would be unavailable for the match. Details of how long he will be away are not yet known.

Botha keeps the faith: Rajasthan Royals have only 12 points from 13 matches and have slipped to sixth place, but their allrounder Johan Botha believes the team can still make the playoffs. He was particularly confident because Rajasthan’s remaining matches include teams out of the running. “The fact that we have to play two against Pune and Hyderabad and the last against Mumbai Indians gives a little chance," he said. "While the other teams fighting for a play-off slot will be playing against big teams.”

Hey guys be practical...Practically speaking,RR has very less chance...my line-up would be DD,KKR,MI.CSK(70%)/RCB(30%)....

Delhi, KKR , Mumbai is almost sure. I would like to see either KX1P Or RR in last 4. Likes them both. Hope CSK dont get in.

Botha's optimism is misplaced. Taking 2 points of lower table teams is pretty much expected; so if they lose, they will be hammered for losing it. On the other hand, a win against a team competing for the play-off places would mean two points gained while denying two points to the nearest top 4 contender. Botha, you better have a rethink!

Being an optimistic, botha!. But taking the competition as granted, from bottom ranked teams especially in IPL is ill advised. Anyways, if Sangakkara is going to captain against you, then you do have a the game in the pocket. dont know why i dont lankan cricketers, maybe their past performances.
