Superb cartoon Satish. But as ThatsJustCricket said, it's not at all a shameful loss. For all that we know of Afridi, he could have holed out @ 49.2 and then all of us would have praised Kohli. Other than the obvious heart burn of a loss to Pakistan ;-) the feeling was quite positive ! Pakistan deserve praise for the win, though they once again conspired against themselves and had almost lost the match.

Lol, excuses not needed. A well contested game by both sides. We can't win em all!

  • CricPrachi on March 3, 2014, 8:22 GMT

Lol...thats Virat for you! but where are his spikes gone??

  • Deepak on March 3, 2014, 1:06 GMT

Awesome, Satish! This is hilarious…a classic!! Love how Dhoni and Kohli keep finding excuses and 'positives' in defeats.

  • ThatsJustCricket on March 2, 2014, 23:09 GMT

Oh come on Satish. Let Virat breathe. It's his first full series as captain. Besides, the manner of loss matters. The match went to the last over with both results possible and the better team on the day won, period. There's no shame in a loss like that.

As usual, Without MSD, India's middle order has become brittle. And when these Indian bowlers are going to learn death bowling. Bowling low full tosses, half voleys to tailenders and going for sixes.... Wake up guys.... Rohit wasted a good innings, Dhawan is not looking himself, Rahane is getting out in 20s and 30s in far too many innings.... And no bowler who can threaten an opposition...

Satish, I am looking for a cartoon on Mortaza's statement that "Bangladesh beating India is not an upset." You can add "Afghanistan beating Bangladesh is an upset." :-)

Homourous expressions on kohil's face. Great Job!!!

@ThePasifist10, I am sure Kohli does not take any of this personally - sportsman that he is, he won't mind us having the odd laugh.

priceless expression in the 2nd frame ! well done Satish..

  • ramli on March 2, 2014, 7:15 GMT

Poor VK ... he did miss MSD as a batsman especially overs 40 to 50 ... but VK is more forthcoming during interviews than MSD

  • ThePacifist10 on March 2, 2014, 7:05 GMT

Now that's just unnecessary. Kohli lost the toss and batted well. His bowlers couldn't grip a disgracefully soggy ball. That's it. Any other team would have struggled. I can't believe you're already jumping on the man even though he's been a captain for just 10 matches at the age of 25!
