All said and done, BD skipper Mushfiqur Rahim's comments say it all : One should not forget that if they lose, India will lose, not India A. However, I think the Indian batting side is very strong, only the bowling is lacking a front-line fast bowler. Should be really an entertaining series. BD should take nothing for granted.

@ hystericalnaive : Legitimate Thinking

This is called horses for courses. If you play a test team like SA, Aus , ENG who are better teams, Indian team should be framed in a manner that they are competitive. Now slide back to Bangladesh who are receding in the last year with their performance with so much that people question their ODI performance after their recent Asia cup that they are now being questioned about their legitimacy in staying as a 9th odi team in the world, forget test team. A fact that is really being pressed more often. Therefore, it is all but pertinent to give a thought about the Indian team being sent vs a gruelling IPL season which saw few injuries to top players being rested as an opportunity. After this I wanted to ask how many times did SA/Aus/ENG visited BD for a tour? Can any one highlight pls? when they question the team being sent , they should dig a hole , go inside it and think, do we deserve to talk and comment on them or should we not introspect our team first on staying as 9th test team.

Dissappointing to see all "name calling" comments from Bangladesh fans - totally uncalled for.

For your own benefit, try to see this - this Indian team was whitewashed in their previous tour of England and one major reason was injuries. Their guys are coming back from a long season and going for another long season - they are trying to minimize the probability of loosing players.

Now some hard realization from your side - Instead of complaining, shouting at others, please try to practice gratitude - Bangladesh has been given a lot of opportunities - a lot by many countries and finally swallow this bitter pill - after 14 years of international cricket - Bangladesh hasn't really proved itself.

These comments are written in best interest of cricket and cricketing community as such. Being down is not bad but blaming others will only delay the process of your own shining. May BD cricket do well in future. Good luck!

People who are highly appreciating India's squad for Bangladesh- Are u guys become happy in the same way as you are happy right now when India sends such a team to play with Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia and South Africa? Reply will definitely be that-No! we will not support that. And that is your fault! Because you guys are much more ripen from your time. Do not underestimate anyone who is less powerful in cricketing strength and mentality as after some days they may show you the right way to behave sensibly.

Bangladesh can turn tables on India by beating it badly..you do that & no one will do this to you again...but I am doubtful...your team's performance is getting worst..

Firstly, selecting such a team by no means is a way of dishonoring Bangladesh team. It's a good side, but to be honest I feel they haven't lived upto expectatations in the last year or so and need to be much more consistent.

Secondly,What's mean-minded in this? It's important to consider why such a team has been sent. Regular Indian cricketers have been playing for last 6-7 months on a roll and require some respite before a long tour of England. Besides, it's important to test our bench strength. Except for Parveez Rasool (maybe I'm unaware of his abilities?), I am convinced that this is a nicely selected team of very high potential players. To be honest with no offence intended, Bangladesh won't have an easy time against this talented young squad.

@serokon ... let BD first turn up in the matches ... even if they do, we don't mind a Banglawash!! After all it is very boring to see team after team thrashing BD all the time ... we welcome a change???

@Md Minar ... where is the mean-mindedness here? You wanted an Indian team to come to BD to boost your TV rights price ... you got one ... similarly ... when India asks BD to tour, we certainly will not complain about your quality ... why don't you let your team do the talking with performance rather than turning sour even before that ... a day may come when India loses to Bermuda, but that day BD won't even be in the cricket map ...
