Mark Saggers played for Cambridgeshire as a specialist wicketkeeper through the 1980s as well as representing England at hockey. He joined BBC Cambridgeshire at that time and between 1989 and 1992 worked on BBC Radio Sport. In 1992 he joined Sky News as their senior sports correspondent, returning to the BBC in 2001.
