Sanjay Jugade was a right-arm medium-pacer who played for Vidarbha between 1983 and 1989. His best performances came in the 1987-88 season in which he picked up 18 wickets at an average of 23 and took his only ten-wicket haul in a Central Zone league match against Uttar Pradesh. He was 27 when he played his last first-class match and top scored with 29 as his side slumped to an innings defeat. He died of liver failure at the age of 45.
