A fast bowler capable of speeds in the mid 140kph range, Jake Reed made his Sheffield Shield debut for Victoria in February 2014 and in total played three games for the season, earning a state contract for 2014-15. Originally from the Mildura region in Victoria's far north-west, Reed has been a key player for Geelong in Melbourne's district cricket competition over the past few years.
