The Bucks County and Beaconsfield Cricket Club flags have been flown at half-mast in memory of Ronnie Rutter, who died peacefully on August 8 after a long illness. Although on 26 occasions he took five or more wickets in an innings, one of his proudest moments came in 1932 when against Oxfordshire at High Wycombe he scored 106 in 45 minutes, which is still the fastest century for Bucks.
