The pitch has flattened out now, so India Blue need a big score, There was something in it for the new ball bowlers early on today, but looks like it has become a good batting track now.

Susil Kumar: "I can only say 'If only we really have such good all rounders'! That is how I would describe these so called all rounders who come under the category of Ajit Agarkar who will perform well at the domestic circuit and fail miserably when given a chance to represent India." Ah, the much loved and much Ajit Agarkar has finally made an appearance in the comments.

Nehra to Kumar, 1 run, length ball on the pads, chipped towards deep square leg

Biplab: "Talking about All-Rounders, I would like to add ' India would have had Sehwag as a very good all-rounder but I wonder why he wasn't used as a regular bowler after he establishes himself as a destructive opener. Whenever he is given an opportunity, he had never disappointed.'"

Susil Kumar: "India's focus is certainly on the 2015 World cup. And in Australian conditions, they will need 2 spinners: Ashwin and Jadeja. They will also need 2 genuine fast bowlers. Hence the only vacant spot up for grab is a fast bowler who can bat. That is why Menaria or Parveez Razool may not get an opportunity unless they can compete with Ashwin and take his place."

Awana to Kumar, 1 run, pushed towards cover for a single

A surprisingly sensible remark about Agarkar from shahmanas: "Ref to Agarkar, he wasn't very consistent during his time with the India team but 288 wickets in ODIs definitely cannot be considered as failing miserably."
