Nokia Champions League T20, Qualifying Tournament Pool B: Leicestershire v Trinidad & Tobago at Hyderabad (Deccan), Sep 20, 2011
Nokia Champions League T20 - Qualifying Tournament Pool B
Trinidad & Tobago won by 51 runs
20 September 2011 - day/night match (20-over match)

3.55pm The two teams are given a red-carpet welcome, handshakes all around.

Barath and Simmons are in the middle. Hoggard has the ball.

3.40pm Most of the headlines surrounding Leicestershire's build-up to the CLT20 has been about their game-changing allrounder Abdul Razzaq, who hopes his participation in the tournament paves the way for Pakistan players to take part in the IPL and also in resumption of bilateral cricket series with India.

"Interested in CLT20 only because Razzaq is playing from Pakistan," says Asad. Most others still seem to be finding a reason.

Mukul Agrawal: "Didnt Paul Nixon announce his retirement after the Friends t20 Final?? how come he is playing today??" This will be his last tournament.

Asad Raza: "Doesn't matter who plays for which club, but people want healthy cricket. Kolkata won by excellent bowling and I watched every ball of it so will do today hopefully."

3.30pm T&T have won the toss and they choose to bat. T&T retain the same XI that did the job yesterday, Daren Ganga expects today's pitch to have less on offer for spinners than yesterday's.

Leicestershire captain Matthew Hoggard is happy to bowl first, says he's not sure what sort of score is a good total on this track.

3.20pm Day 2 of the Champions League qualifiers. The fun kicks off with Leicestershire v Trinidad & Tobago. Not much of a crowd at Uppal again, as T&T look to seal a place in the main draw.

Today's pitch has several cracks on it which is expected to provide some sideways movement for the bowlers.
