'Players not stepping up to opportunities' - Moody

Yes the players are not stepping up. But SRH came into the playoff because of their teamwork & excellent bowling. Batting was always their weak point. If there are 4 strong batsmen like Dhawan, Patel, White and Duminy, SRH has better chance of putting up a good total. This means either Sammy & Perera have to be benched alternately. Secondly, Karan Sharma & Mishra were grossly misused- Why? Mishra was the top wkt, taker in IPL 6. He rarely bowls 4 overs. Karan has bowled just 4 overs in 3 matches. Perera has been over used & grossly under performed as a bowler- main cause for the 2 losses. As a batsman he was fine. SRH lost to CSK via Perera's 34 run 18th over. The local Hyderabad players are the guys who under performed, contributed Zilch. However, the main reason for the 2 defeats is poor handling of the Bowlers & lack of plan (by Moody himself) in selection of XI + bowling changes.
