Champions League Twenty20 - 1st semi final
Rajasthan Royals won by 14 runs
4 October 2013 - night match (20-over match)

Sharma to Dravid, FOUR, cut crisply between point and cover. Short and wide outside off, Dravid got on top of the bounce, rolled his wrists and slammed the ball to the point boundary

Sharma to Dravid, no run, back of a length again and Dravid takes a small step forward and looked to slap it through the covers but he gets an inside edge that ricochets onto his boots

Sharma to Dravid, no run, a little seam away, but Mohit is affording a lot of room here. Possibly a little fuller than the other two balls, but Dravid has missed out as he flashed outside off and is beaten

Sharma to Dravid, no run, tighter that time. Stays short of a length on off and Dravid drives it to the man at cover

Sharma to Dravid, no run, room outside off again which allows Dravid to pull out the square drive. He hasn't picked the gap this time as the full length ball goes straight to point

Sharma to Dravid, no run, fullish again, around the off stump corridor which forces Dravid to push toward cover off his front foot

Rajasthan Royals 11/0   MM Sharma 1-0-4-0

Sharma to Rahane, 1 run, thick inside edge as Rahane looks to drive on the up. It was shortish and outside off stump, but he set off as soon as he hit it which made sure he made his ground at the other end

Sharma to Cooper, no run, play and miss. That was a little waft outside off and as the ball, pitched fuller, seams away, Cooper's drive cant connect

Sharma to Cooper, SIX, slapped over third man. Mohit is not learning here as he continues to bowl short and wide. Cooper goes forward and gave it an almighty slash as the ball sailed over third man

Sharma to Cooper, FOUR, oh, that was murdered. He has corrected in length but not in line and Cooper made a little room for himself as he flayed this through point.

Sharma to Cooper, FOUR, consecutive fours. Mohit must have picked up Jadeja's shoes before play today. This was right up there, but Cooper again pulled his front foot back from the line of the ball and drills this through extra cover

Sharma to Cooper, OUT, but now he's gone! May have been a little slower because Cooper had to adjust mid-stroke. As with the previous balls, he had moved outside leg and wanted to loft this over the off side field, but this time he hits it straight to the man at extra

Rajasthan Royals 29/2   MM Sharma 2-0-19-1

Sharma to Samson, 1 run, and he's met with a little chip down the track as the back of a length ball is pushed down to long-on

Sharma to Rahane, 2 runs, once again he forays down the track, but Mohit drags this one back and bowls it well wide of the batsman as well. Rahane reaches out and looks to slap it through the covers but the ball takes an inside edge and goes off to fine leg

Sharma to Rahane, no run, and with Rahane having to stay in the crease, he can only push this good length ball outside off to cover

Sharma to Rahane, 2 runs, well placed. Opened the blade at the point of contact and used what little room Mohit afforts on his back of a length delivery to guide the ball behind point

Sharma to Rahane, no run, fuller on off stump and the batsman gets forward to push the ball to the off side

Sharma to Rahane, 1 run, goes tighter on the stumps, but the batsman picks it off his hips and takes a single as the ball goes off to deep square leg

Rajasthan Royals 49/2   MM Sharma 3-0-25-1

Sharma to Hodge, 1 run, he dabs the good length ball on off stump square on the off side and he takes a quick single

Sharma to Rahane, 1 run, change of pace from Mohit and Rahane cannot do much else except steer it to point

Sharma to Hodge, FOUR, full toss and and it is dispatched. Hodge planted his front foot outside leg to get a full swing of the bat as he pummels this through mid-off

Sharma to Hodge, 1 run, this one doesnt pitch either as Hodge sets himself up to slam it over the top straight down the ground. But this came at him a little higher so his timing was off. And maybe his bat has sustained some damage as well. Hodge signals to the dressing room as he goes through for the single

Sharma to Rahane, FOUR, goes across to the off side and looks for the sweep. Mohit bowls it slower and even if it was on middle, Rahane manouevres it to the left of the man at fine leg and collects another boundary

Sharma to Rahane, 1 run, opens the face of the bat as he scoops this wide full toss over the head of point

Rajasthan Royals 141/4   MM Sharma 4-0-37-1
