Northern Knights have won the toss and elected to bowl. With Mumbai Indians batting first, here is what each team needs to do in order to qualify.

Mumbai Indians

If Mumbai Indians win, they will qualify to the next round despite being tied on points with Lahore Lions because their Net Run Rate is far superior.
If Mumbai lose, Knights and Lahore Lions qualify.

Northern Knights

If Northern Knights win, they will qualify along with Lions.
If Knights lose, there will be a three-way tie with Mumbai Indians, Knights and Lions on eight points each. Knights will have to score at least 50 runs in response to Mumbai's 132 if they want to qualify. If they score less, Mumbai will qualify along with Lions.

Lahore Lions

Lahore Lions can mathematically qualify if either team wins. They will ideally want Knights to win, so that they progress without the Net Run Rate coming into the picture. If Knights are to lose, Lions need them to lose by a margin of 83 runs, i.e. be restricted to 49 runs or less.
