The current coach and management has become an embarrassment.

This is doing nothing for team unity.

I would go further and sack the selectors as well. It is about time that they did what Australia's selectors used to do. Pick players on merit and persevere with them. At the moment it seems like they are just pulling names out of hats.

I thought he is coach ? Is he or he is not ? Well if he is then he knows where the issue is , CA needs players to perform and it's new team so you need to give them a time . Dumbest coach I have ever seen. Hey buddy it's cricket not rugby.

What a joke, where is Australian cricket headed they might also want to consider how this affects the fans as I want to see the best we have on the field not heading home or not getting a chance at all (O'Keefe) it's a shame we can't get the right people in the job of selection, I'd hate to stop watching cricket because of being sick of seeing good players being passed by for lesser players. The ones in charged need to open their eye a little

I think its done to rest there key players like watson and pattinson... who are also prone to injuries and they dont want to risk them before the Ashes...

if the coach wants the players views so drastically he can easily go upto them and talk to them with pen and pad...that is how coaches do it in other countries...usually after such disasters coaches should individually talk to their players about how they played and got out...even if teh players did not submit anything it was not a great disaster...he should have sent them an sms that their input was necessary and to take teh time to do it...

i think to draw a line in the sand is one thing but to immeadiatly reduce your chances of getting back into a series is another .,,

to take out your best bowler and vice captain is a pretty courageous and perhaps stupid decision india might as well get the border gavaskar trophy now ... as india will smash australia

obviously for mickey arthur principle comes before winning .even john buchanan wasnt that heavy handed .
