These magic eye pictures are now part of cricket history. In the top strip, Meckiff is bowling the third ball of his only over-his last in first class cricket-during the First Test at Brisbane. His arm bends then straightens again at the top of the arc and in the follow through. This was ruled a 'no-ball'. For Meckiff's next ball (bottom strip) he approaches the crease in virtually identical style. In the third picture his arm is bent but straightens out again for delivery. This time Meckiffs action was passed as legitimate© The Cricketer International
