Profile

A middle-order batsman who can also keep wicket, Tim Weston made an immediate impact on his first-class debut for Central Districts in the 2005-06 season, scoring an unbeaten 85 against Canterbury. His strength is his ability to play off the back foot, but an aspect he needs to work on is the knack of converting fifties into hundreds: at the end of the 2009-10 season he had 14 first-class half-centuries, but only one hundred. His enthusiasm and energy make him an asset on the field, especially in the shorter forms of the game.
