Rustom Cooper was a Parsee batsman who played with great success in India but had less luck during a brief spell with Middlesex. In 1943-44 and 1944-45 he averaged 76.60 and 91.83, with two hundreds and five fifties from eight innings in the second year, signing off with 52 and 104 as Bombay won the Ranji Trophy final.
