James Draper umpired in five Tests in South Africa immediately before the country's international isolation, the last during his country's famous 1970 whitewash of Australia. Born in Natal, the bulk of Draper's matches were at Kingsmead - including three of his Tests. His father, Dan, was also a first-class umpire.
