Profile

Louis Tarrant umpired one match on the 19933-34 MCC tour of India, against Southern Punjab, when his father, Frank, stood at the other end. His only first-class appearance as a player came in 1935-36 when, again alongside his father, he played for the Australians against a Patiala XI. The Maharajah of Patiala, who employed the Tarrants, captain the Australians with his son leading a Patiala XI. He made 16 not out and took two catches.
