Tri-nation tournament in Bangladesh
This series provides a chance for all three teams to take stock of their standing in the world game and stage a real-time dress rehearsal for the 2011 World Cup, which will be played across the subcontinent at roughly the same time of year. Bangladesh begin the year on the back of a successful 2009, when they won 14 of the 19 matches they played. They face two of the strongest sides in ODI cricket, India and Sri Lanka, who come here straight after a five-match series that India won comfortably. Sri Lanka will look to avenge that reversal, while India aim to oust Australia at the top of the pecking order as the best ODI side in business.
