AB de Villiers won version 1.0 when they met a couple of days ago in Brisbane. He scored 40 and looked comfortable against Rashid Khan. Adelaide is another batting friendly wicket and you don't want to miss out on valuable bonus points with de Villiers.

With 15 wickets from nine games Rashid Khan is an obvious pick when the Strikers play. They depend a lot on him to bail them out and Rashid is important if the Strikers need to make the playoffs.

Jake Weatherald:

With Alex Carey out of the side it is all up to Weatherald to help Strikers to the playoffs. They managed only 110 the last time these two teams met and Weatherald was out early. He has scored 299 runs at 152.55 with two scores of 50-plus.

Chris Lynn: Lynn was dismissed first ball the last time these two teams met. He would be desperate to make amends. Lynn strikes at 160 in the BBL and the short side boundaries at the Adelaide oval would be useful for him.

Matt Renshaw - Renshaw scored an unbeaten 52 to guide the Heat to a seven wicket win against the Strikers. Renshaw has been inconsistent but has looked good whenever he has gone past 10 runs. Worth to pick a player in form.

Cutting picked two wickets against the Strikers in the previous game and has won one man of the match effort for his performance with the bat. The fact that he can get points with bat and ball makes him a value pick.
