Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag with Sourav Ganguly: discussing who will open, perhaps? © AFP |
Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag are fit to play in India's next VB Series one-day international, against Australia on February 1 at Perth. Tendulkar has missed three games due to an ankle injury, while Sehwag has had a shoulder strain. Andrew Leipus, the team's physiotherpaist, said that both players have now recovered from their injuries.
Anil Kumble will not be back in action quite so soon, though. Kumble has a sore shoulder, and is expected to be rested for the next two matches, at Perth, so that he is fit to play in the best-of-three finals against Australia.
